Thompson Rivers University (TRU) School of Business offers a 30 credit Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Commerce (Diploma) , with optional specializations in accounting, finance, human resources, international business, marketing and new venture creation. The program, available to applicants residing in Canada or outside Canada, is designed for graduates of recognized degrees in fields other than business or commerce. Students with a first degree in business, but who want to change their area of focus, may also complete a Post-Baccalaureate Diploma. International students who want to come to Canada to learn English, gain exposure to the culture, and study in a compressed format. The main TRU 92 hectare campus, located in the heart of Kamloops, has a range of modern classrooms, computer labs, recreational and student facilities. The library has a collection of 200,000 volumes, 1,000 print journal subscriptions and over 5,000 e-journals, in addition to extensive government documents, pamphlets, microforms and audiovisual materials. Classrooms and labs are designed for small classes, providing frequent access to professors. Shopping, housing, entertainment and even the province's largest municipal park are just a couple of blocks away. TRU also maintains a campus in Williams Lake and regional centres in the Nicola Valley, Clearwater and the North Thompson, Lillooet and the upper Fraser Canyon, 100 Mile House, and the historic region known as the Cariboo.
